Cabled Turtleneck

I finally decided to knit the cabled turtleneck #23 from Vogue Holiday Knitting 2004 (in Alpaca!). As I am a tight knitter, it took me forever to get gauge and being anxious to get started on the sweater I didn't catch this on my swatch. A couple of repeats into the sweater I noticed the cable wasn't right. I read, re-read the instructions, check the corrections page (nothing there) and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. The cable was upside down! I went to my LYS and sitting at the table with three other knitters, we all decided it wasn't me, the pattern was wrong. Hmmm, do I frog and reknit... I decided no I had already knitted about 6-7 inches of the back. Although I love the cable in the pattern, I decided I can live with it in reverse. I'm about 12" into the back now, I'll post pics next week.
